Namgis 2018 – Sunny Bergman

So let’s get started, let’s talk about sex! We’re honored to introduce someone who got famous because of her documentary Sletvrees and her critical opinions. You guessed it right: the one and only Sunny Bergman! This week we’ll be announcing all our guests and speakers. We’ll also post short abstracts of their lectures at Namgis to give you an impression of the subjects covered. Continue reading for Sunny’s abstract, and don’t forget to sign up!

To what extent are we freed sexually? Since the sexual revolution we have gone past the point of shame: sex without shame and sin, freedom and happiness for everyone. At least, this was the idea. Reality disappoints, however, most of the time. In her lecture Sunny Bergman will dig into contemporary views on sexuality and stereotypes concerning this topic. She will also cross the border and tell us more about how other cultures deal with sexuality, love, femininity and the body.
