Opening speech by Anne de Jong

This Friday Anne de Jong will give the welcome speech of the Namgis Conference. She is an assistant professor Anthropology of Conflict at the UvA, with expertise and research interests in social movement, power and resistance, transnational conflict, subaltern studies, and like the Keynotespeaker, she is also interested in gender and activism. It promises to be an exciting talk to introduce the theme of Namgis this year: Antropology of Power and Social Change. The welcome speech will start at 13:30 in Lab111. Make sure you’re there!
